Order arrived in reasonable time. Pizza seemed over done, with crusts dry. Cheese garlic bread was decent enough. Chips that came with burger and wrap. Naff. Clearly been through the ringer, had obviously been fried more than once. Shame, as the skinny fries used to be banging! Now we have over done regular chips :-(

13 years using Verona and they didn't deliver free pizza on a £25.40 order. I rang and was told they have increased minimum spend from £25 to £28 and have yet to deliver new menus (also not included in order) They didn't even bother to ring and tell me this or ask if I wanted free chips/garlic bread (told that's now increased from £15 to £18). They didn't honour it or even care, so I wont be using Verona again and will go elsewhere.

The food is always tasty and cooked well. The only issues I have had with a delivery order was there was an item missing. Also on the two orders I collected which each one cost over £20 they forget another item and each time there was no free garlic bread or chips offered as the deal suggests. Will use them again but I will have to check bag in store I guess.

Order was wrong, got Chilli sauce instead of Garlic. The chilli sauce tasted concentrated. Not pleasant. Fries were scrappy. Not great.

Veronas is the ‘go to’ takeaway. We loved it. Hubby normally gets pepperoni pizza. Really tasty. I had chicken may warp tonight with jalapeño’s and peri peri sauce, cheese and salad. If you like a little spice, go for the medi jalapeño chicken pizza. Delicious ???? Always hot, always fresh and a lovely treat ❤️
